Instagram is often your best portfolio
A salon can show colour transformations. A barber can show fresh cuts. A florist can show this week’s arrangements. A restaurant can show the atmosphere and food as it actually looks.
That is valuable, but it only helps once the customer reaches your social page.
Google is often the first comparison
Someone searching nearby may see several businesses together before they visit any website or social account. They can compare reviews, hours, photos, contact details and location straight from the search result.
If your Google listing is older or thinner than your Instagram, the weaker version of your business may be the first one a new customer sees.
Do not copy and paste the same caption everywhere
The same photo can be useful in more than one place, but the words should suit the job. Instagram can be conversational. A Google update should be factual, clear and useful to someone trying to understand the service or business.
Reuse the real activity, not necessarily the exact post.
A simple weekly habit
When you have a photo worth sharing, ask one extra question: would this help a new customer understand what we do on Google?
If yes, keep the factual details with the image while they are fresh: the service, area, offer, event or useful context. That makes it much easier to prepare the Google version later.
